dc.descriptionThe Wainuiomata "local effects" network of 16 seismographs was established and operated during three months of the year 2000. The effectiveness of earlier such networks is discussed, together with the way that the results from the earlier networks influenced the establishment and operation of the Wainuiomata network. An overview is given of the results obtained, together with a sample analysis of one set of seismograms.en-US
