| dc.description | The Management Committee of the New Zealand National Society for Earthquake Engineering have for some time planned the formation of a Seismic Design Committee.
It is the intention that this Committee would offer assistance to Local Authorities and to designers, for designs of structures and other developments in seismic engineering which border on present knowledge or which are not covered in accepted codes or texts.
