Over eighty civil engineers and scientists participated in the Seminar. The general interest was shown by the lively discussion which took place after every lecture, or panel discussion. Speakers at about half the sessions were Visiting Lecturers. Mr. P. W. Taylor and Dr. G. R, Martin of the Civil Engineering department gave the remainder and have supplied the following resume of their contributions.
